Переглядів 1,2 тис.10 років тому
Every year, the Duns Reiver with his party and supporters ride from Duns to Gavinton in a traditional demonstration of goodwill. 9th July 2014 was a lovely day with clear blue skies but not too warm. Many people said they couldn't remember seeing so many riders of all shapes and sizes. (Stay to the end for one little girl getting into the spirit of the evening.) Music provided by Duns Pipe Band
Hedgehog in the Garden

I noticed a hedgehog wandering across the patio. He (she?) was too interested in eating the dropped suet ball bits from under the feeder to bother about me opening the window to get a better view. The day job; www.thepoisongarden.co.uk

    This is really rather sad. 😢 I do appreciate why you are doing this, but as any person with a passion for growing plants knows, a dying plant is quite sad. How long did it take you to grow the plant to that size?

    These birds are so skeptical that another predator bird is going to do the same thing to them they look all over the place over and over even after they get started. Its hilarious. This is a good one as well. ua-cam.com/video/XaF2K17MdL0/v-deo.html&pp=ygUWc3BhcnJvdyBoYXdrIGdldHMgZG92ZQ%3D%3D

    I have been reading about Japanese Ninja. A couple of sources report the possibility of Monkshood poison being smeared on the spikes of Shuriken, or Ninja Stars. If this is true, and a person were to be pierced by one of these blades, how long before a person would be incapacitated?

    I'm hoping to grow some of these insect-friendly plants at the back of my flower border (I'm not near any livestock fields so it's fine). Sadly the examples I transplanted from my lawn are suffering from severe root shock, but I'm keeping an eye on them. Even if I don't see a cinnabar moth, it will be worth it for the other insects.

    Legalize ALL drugs, take the money spent on drug enforcement and put it into drug education and rehab. Humanity will SAVE money, people will be happier, healthier, and safer. Other countries wouldn't be run by cartels and terrorist organizations. Drugs will be cleaner and safer. Drugs will be cheaper and there will be dramatically less crime. ALOT of today's problems could be solved by ending the war on drugs. America needs to realize people can't be stopped from doing what they want to do.

    How very interesting. So the deaths of all those women in childbirth wasn't necessarily down to the absence of a modern ob-gyn or a team of medical midwives ( which I have never believed) Simply that they were taking a poisonous herb. Damn.

    Uh, no, opium does not evaporate! They harvest more by scoring them and the latex regenerates (for a while), but a dried pod contains whatever was it it when it was cut.

    • @ontariobuds
      @ontariobuds 3 роки тому

      Yeah it doesn’t evaporate it just that the skin on the poppy pod is now too hard to score and have the opium drip onto the pod.

    Arum se mange. il faut le cuir avec préparation spécial. chez les turks nous le mangeons et depuis tout petit j'en mange et je n'ai jamais eut de problème. par contre une fois qu'elle à donné ses fruit elle est inmangeable. il y à tellement de plante que nous consommons alors qu'en France personne ne le sais que c'est mangeable. l'ortis pareil c'est que recement les gens en entendent parler.... et j'en passe.. la recette pour tuer le poison et profiter des bienfait qu'il a. faire bien cuir en y ajoutant moyennement de l'huile, du citron de la sauce tomate. l'acide du citron tue le poison quand il est cuit longtemp. (il faut qu'il a un gout acide pour ça mais pas trop non plus) mettre aussi de l'ail à la cuisson mais au choix. il restera quelque residue faible ce qui est normal, et ce faible taux se transforme en benefice pour le corp, système imunitaire, anti alergène. elle stimule les defense du corp sans parler des nutriment extremement bouré dans l'Arume. autre chose, au choix il est bon d'y ajouter du yagourt nature à l'ail crue. à l'heure ou j'écris ça, j'ai mangé 2 assiètte d'arum XD

    I stopped the Liverpool Care Pathway after catching Nurses beating Mum not knowing why! They botched her termination and attempted to accuse us for her death. I caught Cameron in the cover up while working working with Panorama and Daily Mail who forced the review of the Pathway. The Alzheimers Society used our story to force Cameron to support them. They all ran away without telling me WHY but it was a letter from Norman Lamb to Rosie Cooper which confirmed what we saw was The Liverpool Care Pathway. Later Rosie was threatened into silence.

    Ragwort control. If you can pull it up, throw it out on a busy road (evening) and the traffic will destroy it by the next morning. Works even if the plant is getting ready to seed.
